Beginning in 2012 with the Maah Daah Hey 100, a revolutionary event in Western North Dakota, the Race Series has grown into five marquee events and much more! These races in the North Dakota Badlands are designed for everyone from serious competitors to first time riders or runners.

For years, North Dakota’s legendary Maah Daah Hey Trail was disappearing due to neglect and a lack of resources. In 2010, Nick and Lindsey Ybarra decided that best way to keep the trail alive was to host a race - which they called the “Maah Daah Hey 100” - and put in the hard work necessary to get the trail into pristine condition. Since then, Nick, Lindsey and hundreds of incredible volunteers have spent over 5,000 hours transforming the trail into a world-class destination.
